14-year-old daughter arrested in Florida for drowning in bathtub

A Florida woman has been charged with drowning her 14-year-old daughter in a bathtub.
The incident occurred on November 20 in Poinciana, a census-designated place in Florida. The suspect has been identified as 35-year-old Kelsey Glover and the victim as Giselle.
On the day of the incident Osceola County SheriffDeputies responded to a 911 call reporting a disturbance at Poinciana’s residence, the New York Post reported. Upon arrival, deputies confronted Glover and had to physically disarm her with a hammer.
Witnesses at the scene, including another child and a roommate, told investigators they saw Glover holding his daughter underwater in the bathtub. The teenager was later found unresponsive in an upstairs bathroom.

“They attempted to stop her but were unsuccessful. Eventually, Ms. Glover began attacking and chasing these witnesses around the house with a hammer, causing them to call 911,” said Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez. . Post.
Giselle was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
“What happened to him is incredible, and we are determined to get Justice for Giselle” Lopez said.
Glover is currently charged aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery. The investigation is ongoing.
Sheriff Lopez noted that police are awaiting the medical examiner’s report to confirm the girl’s cause of death before potentially upgrading charges.
