2 more rockets attack PM Netanyahu’s house, stir in Israel

Israel Hezbollah War: The home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been targeted once again by a rocket attack. Two flames broke out near the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the central city of Caesarea on Saturday, Al Arabiya News reported, with security services describing the incident as “serious”. “There were two flames in the courtyard outside the prime minister’s residence,” the police and Shin Bet internal security agency said in a joint statement after the attack. It was probably a rocket attack.

According to Israeli security agencies, the prime minister and his family were not at home at the time of the incident. It is suspected that PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence was targeted for the second time in about a month. Israeli President Isaac Herzog condemned the incident and warned against escalating violence in the public sphere.

There was also an attack on 19th October

Before this, on October 19, the same residence of Netanyahu was targeted by a drone attack. At that time even the Prime Minister of Israel survived the attack. Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah later claimed responsibility for the attack. Netanyahu then accused Hezbollah of trying to kill him and his wife. Since September 23, Israel has increased its bombardment of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, sending ground troops nearly a year after limited, cross-border fire launched by Hezbollah militants over the war in Gaza.

The attack took place in Caesarea, Israel, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of the Haifa city area. The area has been regularly targeted by Hezbollah for some time now. The Israeli military said two people were wounded in a “heavy rocket attack” from Hezbollah on a synagogue in Haifa on Saturday. The Israeli military claimed it had already intercepted 10 missiles fired from Lebanon into Israel. Hezbollah claimed several rocket attacks on northern Israel, saying they targeted military sites, including a naval base in the Haifa area.
