Tire (Lebanon): Israel has launched a massive airstrike on Lebanon’s southern port city of Tyre. At least 7 people were killed in this attack. Among them were 5 true siblings, including three deaf and dumb people. A local resident along with Lebanese officials gave this information on Saturday. A huge fire later broke out at the site of the attack, from where huge flames and black smoke could be seen billowing.
According to Lebanese state media, the Israeli Air Force carried out airstrikes on various parts of southern and eastern Lebanon on Saturday. A few hours earlier, fighter planes attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut, destroying many buildings. Lebanon’s Hezbollah group said it fired dozens of rockets at northern Israel and shot down a drone over southern Lebanon. The group said Israel’s air force attacked the area where the drone crashed. There was no immediate confirmation from the Israeli army.
More than 3 thousand dead in Lebanon
Lebanon’s health ministry said 46 people were also injured in the attack on Tire late Friday night. More than 3,000 people have been killed in Lebanon during the 13 months of the Israel-Hezbollah war.
