9 terrorists including 2 commanders of Lashkar-e-Islam killed in Pakistan, 8 security personnel also lost their lives

At least 9 militants and 8 security personnel were killed in a fierce encounter between security forces and militants late Monday night in Pakistan’s northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The encounter took place during an anti-terrorist operation in the Tirah Maidan Valley of Khyber district.

According to sources, two important commanders of Lashkar-e-Islam were also killed during this operation. 7 security personnel and 6 terrorists have been injured in the encounter. Security forces deployed themselves at three different points and the operation continued for several hours. Local sources said that some nearby civilians were also injured in this operation. Security forces have stepped up action against terrorists. As the operation continues, the number of deaths and injuries in these encounters may increase.

A foreign diplomatic convoy was targeted

In fact, Pakistan’s restive northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sees such incidents every day. Diplomats of China, Russia and many other countries were also attacked by terrorists last month. Terrorists targeted a foreign diplomatic convoy, killing a security guard. However, the foreign diplomat was not harmed in this attack.

Earlier, a suicide bomb exploded at the station

A few days ago, a suicide bomb exploded at a station in Pakistan’s Balochistan, in which security personnel were the main targets. 17 security personnel and many civilians were killed in the attack. Most of those killed were training officers of the Pakistan Army, who were returning home after completing their training. The Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack. This was done by human bombs.
