Stock market boom ahead?

Indian benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 rose at the opening bell on Friday, reflecting positive momentum in global markets.

In early trade, the BSE Sensex was up 169 points or 0.22% at 77,325, while the Nifty 50 was up 40 points or 0.17% at 23,390.

Markets are likely to react to the preliminary release of manufacturing and services PMIs for November in the US, Europe and India today. In the near term, we expect the market to remain volatile due to global geo-political concerns, continued FII selling and uncertainty around the results of state assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, said Siddharth Khemka.
