Jordanian police cordoned off the area near the Israeli embassy after hearing gunfire

Police have secured the area around Amman, the capital of Jordan Embassy of Israel Following reports of gunfire on Sunday.
Witnesses at the scene heard intermittent gunshots and observed police and emergency medical services responding to the embassy location, in the neighborhood of Rabia.
A security source said police have urged residents to stay indoors as a search for those responsible is carried out.
“Police asked residents to stay in their homes as security personnel conducted a search for the culprits,” a security source said.
