After the Samosa incident, Himachal Pradesh issued a decree, CM Sukhu’s photo will not be shared without permission

A unique order has been issued after the samosa incident in Himachal Pradesh. Now CM Sukhu’s pictures cannot be shared without permission. According to the order, all government departments and government agencies will have to take permission from the Director of Notification and Public Relations before releasing pictures of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. No photo of Chief Minister can be shared without this permission.

The ban will apply to photos of the Chief Minister taken during departmental meetings, official functions or public events. In a letter to secretaries and heads of departments, the DIPR said it has come to its notice that photographs of the chief minister are being released to the media without prior approval.

Photos may damage the image

The letter expressed apprehension that in some cases, these photographs showed inappropriate expressions and could potentially damage the Chief Minister’s public image. “This irregular circulation of pictures could have far-reaching consequences, affecting the image and perception of the Chief Minister as well as the government,” the letter said.

The inquiry officer called it an anti-government act and the inquiry report was leaked. As soon as the investigation report came out, the opposition raised the issue and said that if someone else had eaten the CM’s samosa, a CBI investigation would be conducted.
