Meanwhile, the police has made a shocking revelation citing the arrested accused. Accused stone pelters adopted a gruesome tactic to avoid police tear gas.
How to survive tear gas
Among the violence accused arrested by the Sambhal police, there are three accused who had green lotion applied above and below their eyes when they were caught by the police. When the police interrogated the arrested accused, they told the police that they had applied this green colored lotion to protect themselves from tear gas. Applying this green lotion reduces the effect of tear gas on their eyes.
Three women have also been arrested
The police have also arrested three women for pelting stones and inciting violence against the police force in Sambhal. In the Sambhal violence case, the police have registered separate cases, one of which involves the names of Sambhal MP Ziaur Rahman Work and Sambhal MLA Iqbal Mahmood’s son Suhail Iqbal. After this, the police have registered separate cases on the complaint of the families of the four youths who were killed in Sambhal violence.
Police are conducting raids at various places to nab the rest of the accused. Police are first investigating on whose instructions the crowd gathered around the Jama Masjid on the day of the violence. Another question for the police to investigate is who incited the mob present at the scene to commit violence.
