During the protest, Imran supporters brought with them large industrial fans used in paramotoring. These large fans, specially prepared for the demonstration, are intended to protect protesters from tear gas fired by security forces.

Fans are made for performance only

These fans have been brought in a special truck. This is the first time that such a large fan is being used in a political march in Pakistan. PTI’s social media chief Ikram Khattana while talking to Pakistani newspaper Dawn said that these fans were specially prepared for the demonstration at the local level. “There are six such fans, who are part of the convoy that was evacuated from Peshawar,” Khattana said. He said that electricity generators have also been arranged to run these fans.

The protests turned violent

In the meantime, let us also mention here that the demonstration of supporters of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan has turned violent. Four paramilitary personnel and two police personnel have been martyred. More than 100 security personnel were also injured in the violence. The government media has given information about this. Due to this violence, the government has deployed the army in the capital and ordered that miscreants be shot on sight.
