Babar has become the most capped player in T20 Internationals for Pakistan
When Babar Azam came out to field in the first match of the T20 series against Australia, it was the 124th match of his T20 international career, after which he has now become the most capped player for Pakistan. This record was previously held by former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik, who played a total of 123 T20 International matches in 16 years. Third in the list is Mohammad Hafeez who has played 119 T20 Internationals. While Shadab Khan is fourth and fifth with 104 matches and Mohammad Rizwan is with 103 matches.
The fielder who took the most catches for Pakistan in T20 Internationals
Babar Azam broke another big record in this match which was previously held by Shoaib Malik and Fakhar Zaman. Babar Azam has now become the highest wicket taker for Pakistan as a fielder in T20 Internationals. In which he broke the record of both players by taking the catch of Jack Fraser McGurk and Matthew Short in the first T20 match against Australia. Babar has so far taken 52 catches in T20 Internationals.
