Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced this on Friday. Duminy took over as South Africa’s batting coach in March last year. The CSA said that by mutual consent he has resigned with immediate effect. South African cricket legend JP Duminy has been a key member of the limited-overs coaching staff since his appointment in March 2023, the CSA said in a post on Twitter. He will soon be replaced by a batting coach for the limited overs team. Let us tell you that Duminy played 46 Tests, 199 ODIs and 81 T20Is for South Africa in his 15-year career between 2004 and 2019.
Pakistan will tour South Africa
Duminy has left the team at a time when the Pakistan team is about to tour South Africa. Pakistan’s tour of South Africa will begin on December 10. First of all, a 3-match T20I series will be played on this tour. The first T20I will be played on December 10 and the second on December 13.
