Never make this mistake with a dip stick
- If you are going to use a water heater rod to keep out the cold, you should avoid using an old heater rod.
- Always use a water heater rod in a plastic bucket. Put it on an iron bucket even by mistake.
- Turn on the water heater only when the rod is immersed in water. Do not touch the bucket after switching on.
- If the bucket is low on water, never add water to it while the heater is on. This can cause you severe electric shock.
- It is often seen that people start taking hot water from the bucket as soon as the heater is switched on when required. Do not make such a mistake even by mistake.
- If the water has heated up and you have turned off the water heater rod, do not remove it from the water immediately, remove the rod from the water only 15-20 seconds after switching off.
- Many people leave the water heater rods on for hours. You should never make such a mistake. If you heat water with a heater rot, heat it only to the optimum temperature.
- If you are going to buy a new immersion rod, buy only ISI marked heaters. Only buy immersion rods with voltages between 1500-200 watts and 230-250 watts.
