With the iOS 18.2 update, the experience of iPhone users is going to change once again. This major change can be seen in the user interface.
What’s new in iOS 18.2?
If reports are to be believed, iOS 18.2 will see many changes. iPhone 11 or above users will get this new update. iPhone users will also get an option to manage default apps. Come, let’s know about these changes…
- iPhone users will get the option to change the default e-mail and browser. This change for Apple iPhone will be seen after the tightening of the European Union. Apple and Google have been accused of violating anti-trust laws. Both these companies are accused of monopolizing the market.
- After this feature, users will find more apps on the Apple App Store. Additionally, users will also have the option to select an app. This feature has been seen in the beta version of iOS 18.2.
- By going to the Settings app, users can go to the default app and choose their e-mail, browser, etc. Apart from this, users will also get the option of new apps for calling, call filtering, messaging etc. The advantage of this feature will be that users will not need to select Apple’s apps as default apps.
However, this feature is currently in beta version. It is not yet confirmed whether Apple will bring this feature in the stable version as well. However, due to pressure from agencies in the European Union and other countries, Apple will have to bring this feature sooner or later.
