Broke the biggest record, scoring 2 triple centuries in a single match, creating a new history with 84 fours.

It is very difficult for any batsman to score a triple century in a cricket match, but there is a match being played on Indian soil in which not one but 2 batsmen have made a great record of scoring a triple century. This unique record has been seen in India’s prestigious domestic cricket tournament Ranji Trophy. The Goan team achieved this unique record while playing against Arunachal Pradesh in the plate group match of the tournament.

On the second day of this match, Goa batsmen Kashyap Buckle and Snehal Kauthankar created a sensation in the cricket world by scoring brilliant triple centuries. On the first day in this match being played in Porvorim, the Goa team defeated Arunachal Pradesh by just 84 runs in the first innings. In reply, Goa put over 700 runs on the scoreboard thanks to triple centuries from Kashyap Buckle and Snehal Kauthankar.

Goa batsmen created a new history

Goa declared their first innings at 727/2. Meanwhile, Kashyap Buckle returned unbeaten with 300 runs and Snehal Kauthankar returned unbeaten with 314 runs. The two batsmen thus recorded the record for the highest partnership in the history of the Ranji Trophy. Earlier, the record for the largest partnership in Ranji was held by Maharashtra’s Swapnil Gugale and Ankit Bawne. The duo shared a 594 run partnership for the third wicket in a match against Delhi in 2016. Kashyap Buckle and Snehal Kauthankar put on an unbeaten 606 for the third wicket in the Plate Group match against Arunachal Pradesh. Thus, it is recorded in the record books as the largest partnership in Ranji Trophy history.

2 triple centuries in a single match

Snehal Kauthankar scored a triple century in just 205 balls, the second fastest triple century by an Indian in the history of first class cricket. Along with this, Kashyap Buckle became the third fastest batsman to score a triple century for India in first class history. Snehal scored an unbeaten 314 off 215 balls with 45 fours and 4 sixes while Kashyap Buckley scored an unbeaten 300 off 269 balls with 39 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from this, Prabhudesai contributed 73 runs.
