Champions Trophy 2025: Pakistan will suffer if they don’t shake their stubbornness, now is the time to make a decision.

The Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held in February next year. Eight of the best teams from around the world will participate, but as far as the schedule is concerned, the venue of the Champions Trophy has not been decided. Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB is firm on its insistence. But if he continues like this, he may suffer a big loss. The ICC may give a final verdict on the whole matter soon.

Although Pakistan has got the host of Champions Trophy 2025, BCCI has refused to send Team India there. Indian players are not safe in Pakistan, so this decision has been taken. There can be no compromise with this. The BCCI has informed the ICC about this and the ICC has also informed the PCB about this decision. The ICC has proposed to the PCB that the Champions Trophy should be held on a hybrid model like the Asia Cup. In this, all India’s matches can be played at some other venue and remaining matches can be played only in Pakistan, but PCB is not ready for this yet.

The Champions Trophy can start from February 19

As per the Champions Trophy draft schedule prepared by the PCB, it is scheduled to start from February 19, which means less than 90 days are left for the tournament. The schedule of any ICC tournament should be announced at least 90 days in advance, but even this limit has now expired. All this is happening because of PCB’s stubbornness. Meanwhile, now the ICC is in a mood to take a final decision on the whole matter soon. It is learned that an ICC meeting will be held on Friday, November 29, to resolve this. That means now ICC is in a mood to give more concessions.

The entire tournament may be held in another country

The point of tension for Pakistan and the PCB is that if it insists on hosting the entire Champions Trophy in Pakistan, it may suffer a huge loss. Although there is no information yet, but if this continues, ICC may ask to host the entire tournament in another country. This means that Pakistan will also lose the 10 matches they get to play on their soil. In such a situation, there is every hope that the PCB can change its mind.

There will be huge damage to the PCB

The Pakistan Cricket Board is already grappling with financial problems, and may face more problems if the ICC takes a tough line. This means that it is now the turn of the Champions Trophy chapter and it is believed that Pakistan will have to back down from their stubbornness. Once the venue is decided, the schedule will be announced soon.
