DGP Reviews Security Situation in North Kashmir, Interacts with SOG Personnel

Srinagar, July 9 (KDC): Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, on Tuesday undertook a comprehensive review of the security scenario in North Kashmir, accompanied by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir.

During his visit, the DGP chaired a high-level meeting with the Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) from the northern districts. The discussions focused on operational preparedness, intelligence coordination, and ensuring continued peace and stability in the region.

Following the meeting, DGP Prabhat interacted with personnel of the Special Operations Group (SOG) and other ground forces. He lauded their tireless efforts and commitment in maintaining law and order and tackling emerging security challenges.

The top police official stressed the importance of community engagement, enhanced coordination among agencies, and sustained vigilance to counter any threats. (KDC)
