Donald Trump Jr. hinted on Fox Business that alternative candidates are available for the controversial nomination. Bondi’s selection came shortly after Getz’s withdrawal, amid ongoing concerns about a federal sex trafficking investigation.
Over the course of eight days, Trump tried to leverage his election victory to win Senate Republican support for controversial picks like Gaetz.
