Donald Trump’s cabinet has been targeted with bomb threats and ‘sweating’.

Some select members of US President-elect Donald Trump’s administration and cabinet have been targeted with threats, including bomb scares and “swatting” incidents, according to his spokeswoman Carolyn Levitt.
In a statement Wednesday, Levitt revealed that the incidents occurred late Tuesday and early Wednesday, prompting a swift law enforcement response to protect those affected.
Levitt refrained from naming the individuals targeted or detailing the specific nature of the threats. However, she cited incidents ranging from bomb threats to “swatting” — a dangerous scam in which false reports of criminal activity are made to trigger a heavily armed police response to someone’s residence.
“With President Trump as our example, dangerous acts of intimidation and violence will not deter us,” Levitt said.
The FBI and Justice Department have not yet commented on the incident.
These latest threats add to a growing list of incidents targeting Trump and his associates. In July, Trump suffered a minor ear injury in an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania. Another man was charged with attempted murder in September after he was found with a rifle outside one of Trump’s Florida golf courses.
Trump’s transition team is actively preparing to take over after his November 5 election victory. Earlier this week, Trump’s team finalized a memorandum of understanding with the White House, enabling formal cooperation with federal agencies and access to key documents.
