A court in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh has awarded severe punishment to a German citizen. A German national has been convicted of fraud and falsifying the validity date of a visa after it expired. The court has sentenced the German citizen to 14 months imprisonment and a fine of Rs 500. Informing the case, Senior Prosecution Officer Satish Verma said that in the year 2017, Sub Inspector Sitaram of the Local Intelligence Unit investigated Holger Erich Misch, a citizen of Berlin, Germany. An investigation revealed that Holger’s visa had already expired. Accused Holger tampered with his visa and tampered with its validity date.
