Apart from these holidays, banks will also be closed on weekends i.e. Sundays on 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th November and second and fourth Saturdays on 9th and 23rd November.

RBI releases a list of bank holidays every year and places these holidays in three brackets, namely holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act; holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and real time gross settlement holidays; and closure of bank accounts.
