Many cases of data leaks and cyber frauds are constantly coming to light these days. In an increasingly digital environment, one never knows when your personal data will reach hackers. However, you can monitor whether your personal data gets hacked or ends up on the dark web and protect your personal information. Google started this feature a few years back. Can Android smartphone users know from their phones whether any of their data has reached a hacker or not?
Find out this way
For this, first of all you have to open the Google app in your smartphone.
After this tap on your profile picture given on the top right.
Then tap on Manage your Google Account and proceed.
Here you will see the Security tab. Tap on it.
Then scroll down and tap on Dark Web Report.
Here you have to tap on start monitoring.
If any of your information is present on the dark web, it will be listed.
You can go there and check what information of yours is available on the dark web.
Usually your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, username and password are leaked on the dark web. If any of your account passwords are leaked to the dark web, you should immediately change them and increase the security level. Hackers try to defraud you by using your personal information.
Your personal information available on the dark web prompts hackers to carry out incidents like digital arrests. Delete your personal information from websites or apps through which your personal information reached the dark web or increase the security level.
