If Pakistan refuses, the Champions Trophy will be played in this country, a big revelation

The issue of Champions Trophy 2025 is already very hot. This tournament is going to be organized in Pakistan. But India has categorically refused to tour Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025. In such a situation, ICC has demanded to host Pakistan in a hybrid model. However, there has been no reaction from Pakistan on this issue. The PCB on Sunday confirmed that the ICC had emailed it. In which it has been said that India has refused to visit his country.

Pakistan remained silent

According to the same PTI reports, news has emerged that the current plan is to hold India’s match in the UAE and the final in Dubai unless the PCB decides to pull out of hosting the Champions Trophy. In fact, the BCCI has told the ICC that the hybrid model is acceptable to them only if the final is held in Dubai and not in Pakistan. ICC has informed Pakistan about this, but there has been no response from them. However, the ICC has assured the PCB that they will get full hosting fees and most of the matches under the hybrid model.

If Pakistan refuses, the tournament will be held in this country

If Pakistan does not accept the ICC’s proposal regarding the Champions Trophy and the PCB decides to withdraw from hosting the tournament, the ICC may consider shifting the entire tournament to South Africa. Earlier, a PCB source had said that there was no talk on the hybrid model yet and they would seek further clarification from the ICC. South Africa has already hosted several major tournaments. The 2027 ODI World Cup is also scheduled to be played in South Africa. Apart from this, if the tournament is played in South Africa, it will be a good thing for the Asian fans. In fact the timing of matches in South Africa is much better as compared to Asia.
