After the day’s play ended, now a big statement has come from the Indian team on Bumrah’s injury. Team India bowling coach Morne Morkel has clarified that Jasprit Bumrah is fine. Bumrah looked a little uncomfortable while bowling in the 81st over of Australia’s innings. The team physio asked Bumrah about his problem and then helped him stretch. However, soon after this he started bowling and finished his over. After this, Bumrah bowled three more overs. Morkel said in the press conference after the match that Bumrah was fine at first, it was just a cramp. Yeah, because then, you know, he bowled and you got two wickets.

India’s star pacer took 4 wickets for 61 runs in the first innings as India bowled out Australia for 337 runs. Meanwhile, Bumrah made the Australian opener Nathan McSweeney (39), Steve Smith (2), Pat Cummins (12) and Usman Khawaja (13) his prey.
