IND vs CLOSED: Fans are very excited for the five-match Test series between India and Australia. Team India players have been practicing in Perth for over a week. The first match of the series will be played at the Optus Stadium in Perth. Indian team is fully prepared for this match. A day before the match i.e. on 21st November, the captains of both the India and Australia teams held a press conference and during this both of them made many big revelations. Captain Jasprit Bumrah will lead Team India in the first match of the series. Actually, Rohit Sharma recently became a father due to which he could not go to Australia.
Team India decided the playing 11
Talking about the playing 11 of the Indian cricket team, Jasprit Bumrah was asked during the press conference how the playing 11 of the team will be in the first match of the series. To this, Bumrah replied with a smile and said that it was decided to play in Team India 11. However, he will announce this tomorrow i.e. on the day of the match, November 22. Some star players of Team India will miss the first match of the series. Apart from Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill’s name is also included. However, Bumrah did not give any specific update on this.
Some players may also make their debut for Team India in the first match of the series. Names of Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana can be included among those players. Bumrah said in his press conference that he wants the young players of Team India to take on bigger responsibilities during the series. Bumrah also said that he didn’t know that he would captain the first match of the series, but after coming to Australia, the team management and coach told him that Rohit Sharma would take part in the first match. In such a situation, he is being given the responsibility of captaincy.
