IND vs CLOSED: The Indian team is on a tour of Australia and is busy playing the Border-Gavaskar series. After winning the first Test in Perth, Team India got the support of Captain Rohit Sharma and now Team India is losing against Australia in the second Test match being played in Adelaide. The match has started in Adelaide today i.e. from December 6 in which the first day was in the name of the host Australia team. Against Australia’s deadly bowling, the Indian innings ended in just 180 runs. From Australia, Mitchell Starc performed brilliantly by taking the maximum 6 wickets. For the first time, Starc took 5 or more wickets in a Test against India. Starc gave the best performance of his Test career by dismissing 6 Indian batsmen for 48 runs. In reply to India’s 180, Australia got off to a great start. At the end of the first day’s play, Australia scored 86 runs for 1 wicket on the scoreboard. Now the next day’s game will be very important for both the teams.
The next day’s game will be important
The first Test match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 was played in Perth which was completed in 4 days. The four-day match started at 5.30 pm IST. The second Test match being played in Adelaide is the Pink Ball Test i.e. Day-Night Test. In such a situation, the Adelaide Test started later on the first day than the Perth Test. In Adelaide, the toss took place at 9 am IST, while the game started half an hour later at 12:30 pm. Now the eyes of the fans are on the next day’s game. Many fans may have missed out on watching the entire first day of this day-night test match as today was Friday but the next 2 days are weekends i.e. Saturday and Sunday. In such a situation, the fans would not want to miss the second and third day’s games under any circumstances. With the weekend in mind, fans will be keeping an eye on the TV screens since morning. Now the question is what time will the next day’s play start?
Weekend fun will double
Like the first day in the Adelaide Test, the second day’s play will also start at 9.30 am IST. That means fans will be able to enjoy the second and third day’s games after getting enough sleep over the weekend. In this match, the start time of play will be same on all five days. However, fans will once again have to sacrifice their sleep in the next 3 Test matches. In the last three matches of the series, play will start after 5 am and before 6 am on all days.
