80-year-old Democratic strategist James Carville went on a full blast against the 23-year-old who advised Kamala Harris not to go on the Joe Rogan podcast before the election. “When you put together a campaign and you put young people to work, what do you say to these people – let me tell you what I say to them,” not only that I am not interested in your king’s opinion. I won’t even call you by your name. You are 23 years old. I don’t really give a damn what you think,” James Carville said.
Carville said Kamala Harris had every advantage from the start of her campaign but somehow lost the election.
On the 2028 campaign, he said he would fire the 23-year-old on the spot to discourage the candidate from appearing on the Joe Rogan podcast. “If I’m running the 2028 campaign and I have a 23-year-old with a short nose saying, ‘If you don’t do this I’m going to resign,’ not only will I fire that mother. On the spot, I’ll find out who and will fire that person on the spot,” he said. “I’m really not interested in your ignorant, stupid, jacka** opinion on whether or not you go to Joe Rogan.”
Both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump were in talks with Joe Rogan’s team to appear on his podcast but only Donald Trump appeared and apparently won the trust of Joe Rogan’s show’s huge audience. The real reason Kamala Harris didn’t go ahead with her conversation with Joe Rogan was fear of a backlash in the Democratic Party. And it was the young staff who expressed reservations against Joe Rogan and his show.
“Let me tell you another mistake, a big mistake. People say that campaigns need to reflect progressive values. No, they don’t. Campaigns are authoritarian by their very nature,” Carville said.
