Srinagar, May 9, KDC: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer Ul Haq Chowdary, has assured that the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway will now be made operational within 1–2 hours in case of any closure.
Speaking to Kashmir Dot Com, he said the administration is fully prepared to handle any exigency.
This comes after recent disruptions due to landslides and snowfall, with authorities successfully restoring traffic within six hours in the last incident. (KDC)
