Sunrisers Hyderabad Complete Squad IPL 2025: Sunrisers Hyderabad team’s performance in IPL 2024 season created a different kind of fear among all other teams, however, despite reaching the final, Sunrisers Hyderabad team failed to retain the title. Ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, Sunrisers Hyderabad team retained a total of 5 players, apart from captain Pat Cummins, they included the names of Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Reddy, Henrik Klaassen and Travis Head. After this, his same aggressive strategy was seen in the auction as well where he managed to make Ishaan Kishan a part of his team.
Hyderabad spent the most on Ishan Kishan and Shami
The two players that Sunrisers Hyderabad spent the most from their purse in the IPL 2025 mega auction were Ishan Kishan and Mohammed Shami. Sunrisers Hyderabad spent Rs 11.25 crore to make Ishan a part of their squad and included Ishan in the Mumbai Indians squad last season, but he was not retained by the franchise before the mega auction. Apart from this, Mohammad Shami who was earlier a part of Gujarat Titans team will now be seen playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the upcoming season. Kavya Maran’s Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise made Shami a part of their team for Rs 10 crore.
Rahul Chahar and Harshal Patel will also be seen in the Hyderabad jersey.
Harshal Patel, popularly known as Purple Patel in IPL, is also set to be seen in the Sunrisers Hyderabad jersey in the IPL 2025 season. Sunrisers Hyderabad made Harshal Patel a part of their team by spending 8 crore rupees. Apart from this, leg-spinner Rahul Chahar, whose last IPL season was nothing special, was also roped in by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 3.20 crore.
