LG claims that this stretchable display can stretch up to 50 percent of its size without degrading image quality. While introducing the prototype of its stretchable display, the company has said that it is a 12-inch display, which can be stretched up to 18 inches and can maintain a resolution of 100 pixels per inch. Even before this, the company showcased a prototype of its stretchable display in 2022.
The company claims that this flexible display is completely unique, which can be called the ultimate display technology. Like other flexible displays, it can not only be bent or folded, but you can also twist and stretch it like a towel.
10 thousand times will be stretched continuously
LG’s flexible display is made of micro-LEDs, which can be continuously stretched 10,000 times. Apart from this, it is also claimed that this display works even in extreme temperatures. While introducing this prototype, the company has also revealed many of its features. This display can be controlled with touch gestures. Not only that, you can also wear it on your arm.
