Mahakumbh fair is popular not only in India but all over the world and this fair is held once in every 12 years. Maha Kumbh Mela is going to be held in the year 2025, before this Maha Kumbh Mela was held in 2013. According to religious beliefs, taking a royal bath in the Mahakumbh gives freedom from all sins. Every time the Kumbh Mela is organized at the four holy rivers and four pilgrimage sites of India, but the Maha Kumbh Mela is organized only in Prayagraj, Nashik, Haridwar and Ujjain. Maha Kumbh Mela is going to be organized after 12 years. There are many special things related to Mahakumbh, but first let’s know when and where Mahakumbh will be held in 2025.
In the year 2025, the Maha Kumbh Mela will start on 13 January 2025 on the full moon day and this Kumbh Mela will end on 26 February 2025 on Mahashivratri. Mahakumbh is going to be organized in Prayagraj after 12 years. Earlier in the year 2013, Maha Kumbh Mela was organized in Prayagraj itself. The Kumbh Mela also features Naga monks, who are a special focal point of the fair.

Where is the Kumbh Mela held?
Prayagraj – When Lord Jupiter is in Taurus and Sun is in Capricorn, the Kumbh Mela is organized in Prayagraj.
Haridwar – When Sun Lord is in Aries and Jupiter is in Aquarius, Kumbh Mela is organized in Haridwar.
Nashik – When both Sun Lord and Jupiter Lord are present in Leo, the Kumbh Mela is held in Nashik, Maharashtra.
Ujjain – Kumbh Mela is held in Ujjain when Jupiter is in Leo and Sun is in Aries.
UP Transport Corporation has made special preparations
The UP Transport Corporation will operate seven thousand buses for the successful organization of the Divine, Magnificent and Green Maha Kumbh Mela-2025.
Special facilities have been planned for women and elderly pilgrims.
Around 6800 transport buses and around 200 air-conditioned buses are planned to run during Mahakumbh 2025.
The main baths during the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 take place between January 13 and February 26, 2025, with the Mauni Amavasya royal bath on January 29 and the Basant Panchami royal bath on February 3, 2025.
