Sao Paulo: A shocking case has come out from Brazil. A man who failed to enter the Supreme Court here committed suicide by blowing himself up outside the building. Informing about this, officials said that after the incident, the judge and staff vacated the building and came out. Brazil’s Supreme Court said in a statement that two loud explosions were heard at around 7:30pm on Wednesday after the session ended. After the explosions, all the judges and staff were safely evacuated from the building.
First, an explosive device was planted in the parking lot of Parliament
Firefighters have confirmed that one person died at the scene in the capital, Brazil, although the victim has not been identified. Celina Leo, lieutenant governor of Brazil’s federal district, said the suspect had earlier detonated an explosive device in a car in the parliament parking lot, causing no injuries. According to ‘Speaker’ Arthur Lira, the LEO suggested closing Parliament on Thursday to avoid danger. Brazil’s Senate has agreed to his request and the lower house will be closed until noon.

The explosions occurred 20 seconds apart
The explosions took place about 20 seconds outside the Supreme Court in Brasilia’s Three Powers Plaza, which houses Brazil’s main government buildings, including the Supreme Court, Parliament and the Presidential Palace. Currently, the police have started a detailed investigation in this matter. The reason behind the explosion is yet to be ascertained. (AP)
