Now the government has alerted the mobile users about such scams.
Let us tell you that recently a post was made on social media platform X by the Press Information Bureau. On its social media post, PIB asked, ‘Have you also been called by Telecom Regulatory Authority and told that due to abnormal behavior of the phone, your mobile number will be closed soon.’

Tagging TRAI in its post, PIB clarified that calls are never made by TRAI to mobile users. Not only this, the PIB also clarified that TRAI does not send any message to any telecom user regarding number closure.
Let us tell you that such a warning was also given by the Department of Telecommunication some time ago so that mobile users should be alert. Be wary of calls from TRAI regarding disconnection of your network, said the Department of Telecommunications. This is a new type of scam.
The government has asked to be careful with these numbers
The government is constantly taking measures to curb the rapidly increasing cases of cybercrime and fraud. The company is constantly alerting the customers. Recently, the government has asked mobile users to be careful about calls from specific numbers. Some numbers have been announced by the government to mobile users and they are advised not to receive calls from these. The government said that if you receive calls starting with +77, +85, +89, +86, +87 and +84 codes, do not receive them.
