Talks started with an American company
As per the news coming out about Jio’s cheap smartphone, Jio is currently working with original equipment manufacturers for cheap 5G phones. A leading telecom company may also work with American company Qualcomm, which makes the process for this.
Regarding the 5G phone, Jio Vice President Sunil Dutt said in a statement that we are in talks with all the smartphone companies. He said that the company is currently working on device manufacturing and partner brands. Work is also underway to ensure that cheap 5G smartphones do not face any network issues.

The vice president of the company said that we are advancing the conversation with the popular company Qualcomm. Because we want to bring cheap and affordable smartphones to millions of consumers across the country. Sunil Dutt said that the new smartphone will make it easier for consumers to get better network connectivity at a lower cost.
