Wellington: New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon’s car has met with an accident in Wellington. It is being told that his car collided with the policemen’s car. Prime Minister Luxon was also present inside the car when the accident happened. According to information, PM Luxon and Finance Minister Nicola Willis were traveling in a government limousine car. But the police car hit his car later. Due to which the rear part of the limousine was damaged. Officials gave this information on Thursday.
The accident happened on Wednesday afternoon on the main airport road in New Zealand’s capital, Wellington, where Parliament is located. However, according to officials, PM Luxon was unhurt as the accident is being treated as minor. No one was injured in the incident. Police have started an investigation into the collision. New Zealand’s Ministry of Home Affairs operates official vehicles.
PM’s car was damaged
The Ministry of Home Affairs said that the rear part of the ‘limousine’ car was damaged in the accident. The Prime Minister is also shocked by this sudden car accident. PM Luxon told reporters in Auckland on Thursday that the crash was “a bit of a shock”. The Prime Minister said he was “fine” and did not know if the car would be retired. (AP)
