Giving this information, the Meteorological Department of the country said that there was no news of loss of life due to the earthquake. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.1. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said its magnitude was 5.3.

According to the National Seismological Monitoring Center in Islamabad, “The epicenter was at a depth of 220 kilometers in the Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan. Both the USGS and the PMD confirmed that the earthquake struck at 10:13 a.m. People fled their homes in fear after the aftershocks. However, so far There were no casualties.The tremors were felt in various parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.More than 74,000 people were killed in the 2005 earthquake.
