In the recent past there has been a drastic increase in the number of attacks by stray or domesticated dogs in various parts of the country. Many people have died and a large number of people have been injured in dog attacks on the elderly and children. Now a fresh case of dog attack has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district. A pitbull dog kept in a house here scratched the face of its owner’s 26-year-old son. The pit bull has torn the flesh from part of the boy’s face.
Attacked while walking
According to the information provided by the officials, a pit bull dog came to the house of Shankarlal Gangwar, president of a college in Bareilly’s Khalilpur, six months ago. Her son Aditya had left home to walk his dog. However, in the meantime a pitbull dog attacked him and injured him badly.
Bruised facial flesh including lips
Regarding the incident, an official has said that the pitbull dog attacked the youth in such a way that the flesh of the youth’s lips and other parts of his face came out. When local residents heard Aditya’s screams, they rushed to save him. The youth’s face has been operated by a senior surgeon of a private hospital. Meanwhile, the ranger of the forest department has informed that the municipal team has caught the dog.
Pitbulls have ferocious natures
According to reports, the pitbull dog that attacked the owner’s son has been kept at an animal breeding center so that it does not attack anyone else. The dog is reportedly calm now but staff there are afraid to go near it.
