PM Modi praised the film The Sabarmati Report on the Godhra incident, saying- the truth is coming out

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ made on the 2002 Godhra incident. It is good that this truth is coming out, and that too in a way that common people can see it,” PM Modi wrote in a post on social media. A fake story can only last for a limited time. After all, the truth always comes out! PM Modi said this while praising the film starring Vikrant Massey, Rashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra among others.

Prime Minister Modi made this comment while reacting to a former user’s film. The user in his review told the film that he must watch this film. The user said that the makers have done a commendable job in revealing the truth behind the 2002 Godhra massacre. 59 people including women and children lost their lives in the Godhra incident.

‘The Sabarmati Report’ is directed by Dheeraj Sarna. The film is based on the Godhra incident. After the burning of Sabarmati Express in Godhra, riots broke out in many areas of Gujarat. The film has Vikrant Massey in the lead role. The film was released on 15 November. An X user in his short review said that the makers have handled the issue with great sensitivity and dignity. The user also claimed that the incident was politicized by a “fixed interest group” and used as an opportunity to “tarnish the leader’s image”.
