PM Modi wishes Constitution Day, will address Supreme Court in the evening

New Delhi: Constitution Day is being celebrated across the country today. On this occasion, PM Modi wished the countrymen on Constitution Day. PM Modi has also made a post on social media platform ‘X’. He wrote in his post, “On the auspicious occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Constitution of India, a very happy Constitution Day to all citizens.” This year marks 75 years since the adoption of the Constitution.

The program will also be held in the Supreme Court

On this occasion, the main ceremony will be held in the Central Hall of the old Parliament House, now called Constitution House. President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker, Union Ministers, Members of Parliament and other dignitaries will be present in this program. PM Modi will participate in the Constitution Day celebrations at the Auditorium of the Supreme Court Administrative Building Complex at 5 pm on the important occasion of completion of 75 years of the adoption of the Constitution of India. He will release the Annual Report of the Indian Judiciary (2023-24). He will address the public on this occasion. This program is being organized by the Supreme Court. The Chief Justice of India and other judges of the Supreme Court will also be present in the programme.

Amit Shah congratulated

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also wished people on Constitution Day. He said that the strength of democracy in a large country like India is its constitution, which gives the mantra of national unity and integrity. The Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly in the Central Hall of Parliament on 26 November 1949 and came into force on 26 January 1950. Conveying warm greetings on Constitution Day, Shah said that today India is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Constitution with full enthusiasm.

He wrote on ‘X’, “To commemorate the contribution of all the framers of the Constitution, including Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Ji, (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi started celebrating ‘Bandharan Diwas’. The strength of democracy in a vast country like India is our Constitution, which guarantees justice and equality to every individual. Mantra of national unity and integrity by ensuring rights. We believe that the Constitution is not just a book to be displayed on the platform, but to be imbibed with full devotion And the key is to make our highest contribution to public life. Come, on this Constitution Day, take a pledge to build a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India.
