Cold weather has started entering North India. People have removed their blankets from their homes and the roads are once again covered in fog. At the same time, the fog has started affecting the Indian Railways as well. Dozens of Delhi-bound trains are running late on Thursday. Some of these trains are running 5 hours and even 7 hours late.   • Pathankot 100 meters visibility

  • 300 meters visibility in Palam, Delhi
  • Chandigarh 800 m, Durgapur in Bengal 500 m Visibility

Bad condition due to pollution in Delhi

Along with the pollution in and around the country’s capital Delhi, smog has also increased significantly. In other words, Delhi is completely turning into a gas chamber. Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) has crossed 400. Delhi’s AQI has been recorded at 432 i.e. in the ‘severe’ category. Noida, adjacent to Delhi, also recorded an AQI of 372 in the ‘very poor’ category.
