Rajat Sharma’s Blog Who is the Boss of Maharashtra?

The way to form the government in Maharashtra has been cleared. The last speed breaker is also gone. Eknath Shinde said “Sab Changla Ahe” (All is well). Shinde has recovered, his health is good and so is his mood. Devendra Fadnavis visited the ‘Varsha’ bungalow and met with Eknath Shinde. All matters were decided. Fadnavis will take oath on Thursday. Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar will take oath as Deputy CMs. Preparations are underway for swearing in Azad Maidan.

As per the decision taken so far, the BJP will keep the Home and Revenue departments with itself. Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena will get the urban development account and Ajit Pawar will hold the finance account. In the formula that has been decided so far, BJP will get 21 to 22 divisions, Shiv Sena 12 and Ajit Pawar’s NCP 9 to 10 divisions.

A total of 70 leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and several central government ministers, chief ministers of NDA-ruled states, will attend the oath-taking ceremony on December 5. Apart from this, more than 400 saints have also been invited.

As resounding as the victory in Maharashtra was, the delay in forming the government dulled its luster. The tantrum displayed by Shinde gave the dejected people a chance to comment after the defeat. Someone said, the people of Delhi are playing the Damru and the people of the Mahayuti are dancing, someone said, the wedding procession has arrived but we still don’t know who the groom is. But today all these things have become meaningless. We also find out who the groom is. An announcement was made as to who would come in the wedding procession and the disgruntled uncle was also ready to meet.

Ajit Pawar came to Delhi and sat in view of political maneuvering, Shinde was also waiting for Amit Shah’s call. This needs to be understood. Shinde and Ajit Dada wanted to talk directly to Delhi. He was trying to bypass Fadnavis but was persuaded that Devendra Fadnavis would be entrusted with the responsibility of forming and running the government of Maharashtra. How many ministers will be made from the three parties will have to be decided after talking to Fadnavis. Shinde and Ajit Pawar will have to decide who will be the minister from Shiv Sena and NCP. But he will have to talk to Fadnavis to decide who will be given which ministry. Motabhai’s big message is that now the government of Maharashtra will not run from Delhi. Decision will be taken in Mumbai. And Devendra Fadnavis will be given a free hand. All will say, Jai Maharashtra! (Rajat Sharma)
