The winter session of Parliament has started from Monday. The NDA coalition party has registered victory in the assembly elections held in two states of the country. Meanwhile, the opposition parties demanded a debate in Parliament on the Adani issue. Because of this there was an uproar in the Parliament. Proceedings of the Lower House of Parliament have been adjourned after paying tributes to 18th Lok Sabha MPs Vasant Rao Chavan and Nurul Islam and several other late former members – MM Lawrence, M Parvati and Harish Chandra Devrao Chavan. On the other hand, the Rajya Sabha proceedings have also been suspended. The opposition members created an uproar demanding a discussion on the issue of allegations against the Adani Group. Because of this, the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha have been suspended on Monday.
