The Micromax-backed start-up will come with the company’s smart TV DorOS, offering users subscription to over 300 live TV channels and 24 OTT apps including Amazon Prime Video, JioCinema, Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, YouTube, Lionsgate Play. , Zee5 etc. Anuj Gandhi, founder and CEO of Streambox Media said that we are also in discussions with Netflix.
24 OTT apps and over 300 channels
In the startup company’s DorOS, users will be given access to 24 OTT apps and over 300 digital TV channels. For this, the company has kept a monthly subscription of Rs 799. This subscription based TV operating system is going to challenge Tata Play, Airtel Xstream TV etc. This TV operating system offers an AI-powered search feature, which will help users easily select the entertainment program of their choice.

4K OLED TV
Streambox has also launched a 4K QLED TV equipped with this operating system, available in 43 inches, 55 inches and 65 inches. Among them, the 43-inch model will be available for sale on e-commerce platform Flipkart from December 1, 2024. The other two models can be purchased from next year. The company will charge Rs 10,799 for this. Among these, there will be a one-time activation charge of Rs 9,999 and a monthly subscription of Rs 799 for the TV. Users will get free subscription with TV for the first month. At the same time, users will be charged a monthly subscription of Rs 799 for the next 12 months. After this, users can customize the plan as per their choice.
