A two-judge bench of the Supreme Court has decided on the bulldozer action. The Supreme Court has banned the action of bulldozers. The court has said that arbitrary demolition of houses is a violation of law. The Supreme Court said that states should have rule of law. One’s property cannot be destroyed arbitrarily. Even if a person is found guilty, his house can be demolished according to law. Being accused or guilty of this is not a basis for demolishing someone’s house. The Supreme Court further said that officials who arbitrarily run bulldozers on property will be held responsible for the same. Also, if any official has taken arbitrary and illegal steps, he will also be punished.
Abu Azmi said- Action should be taken against the accused officers
Now the statements of the leaders of different political parties have started coming on this decision of the Supreme Court. In this regard, Maharashtra Samajwadi Party chief Abu Azmi said, ‘We welcome this decision of the Supreme Court. Now strict action should be taken against the officials who break into the houses of innocent people, they will be jailed. We demand that the government should collect compensation for the houses of people whose houses have been bulldozed. The whole family cannot be punished for the crime of one person.
Omprakash Rajbhar said – He will decide after reading the court decision
Regarding the Supreme Court’s decision on bulldozer action, Omprakash Rajbhar said, ‘If anyone has encroached, action will be taken. Government works within the framework of law. Further decision will be taken after reading the Supreme Court decision in full. Let us tell you that the Supreme Court gave its decision and said that if a person’s house is demolished arbitrarily, he should get compensation. It is unconstitutional to operate a bulldozer without due process of law. The whole family cannot be punished for one person’s mistake. If there is only one accused, why should the whole family’s house be taken away?
