Avalanche Hits Sonamarg’s Sarbal Village; No Casualties Reported
Srinagar, Mar 5: An avalanche struck the Sonamarg tourist resort in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials said. The avalanche occurred in Sarbal village, the last inhabited area of the Kashmir Valley, they added. No loss of life or damage has been reported so far. However, the incident triggered panic among residents in the area.
