The 35-year-old fast bowler created a great record, the first such miracle since 1966

SA vs SL: Test cricket has become a buzz in the cricket world these days. On the one hand, Team India is playing a day-night Test match in Australia, on the other hand, the England team is busy in the second Test match after starting the Test series with a win in New Zealand tour. Apart from this, the South African team is hosting a 2-match Test series against Sri Lanka. After winning the first Test by a huge margin, South Africa are now eyeing a clean sweep of Lanka with a win in the second Test. Today i.e. on December 7, the second day of the second Test match between South Africa and Sri Lanka is being played in which a bowler has created a new history.

On the second day, Sri Lanka’s first innings ended in 328 runs. Sri Lanka were trying to go past South Africa’s first innings score of 358 runs but Dan Patterson did not let it happen. Dan Patterson showed half the team the way to the pavilion. He dismissed 5 Lankan batsmen for 71 runs in 22 overs. Thus the 35-year-old Patterson has achieved a major achievement in the history of South African cricket.

Amazing job by the South African bowler

Dan Patterson achieved the feat of taking 5 wickets in Tests at the age of 35 years and 245 days.
