A wedding procession on its way from Mumbai to Guwahati faced a strange crisis near Howrah. When they were about 15 kilometers from Howrah, the head of the procession realized that there were many old people and children in the procession who were not able to move from one platform to another in a hurry to catch another train. In such a situation, procession leader Chandrasekhar Bagh appealed for help to Divisional Railway Manager Howrah and Senior DCM Howrah via Twitter.

Railway officials made a special corridor

Both the officers directed to provide necessary assistance to their subordinates at Howrah station. Due to special arrangements made at the railway station, all the members of the wedding procession managed to catch the 12345 Sarighat Express and reached the bride’s house on time. After this, the head of the procession, Chandrashekhar Bagh thanked the Railway Minister, Railway officials and employees on Twitter.
