India vs South Africa 4th T20I: Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma performed brilliantly in the fourth T20 international against South Africa. These players set an excellent example of batting. The bowlers of Africa could not survive against these two. He rained runs on the field and Team India did wonders by scoring a mountain of 283 runs. Both these players have been able to impress with their batting.
It was the first time for India that two batsmen scored centuries together in a T20I match.
This is the first time for the Indian team that two Indian batsmen have scored a century in a T20 International match. This was not seen before. Abhishek Sharma came to open with Sanju Samson against Africa. Abhishek also scored runs in explosive estimation. But he was dismissed for 36 runs. After this, Tilak Verma came to bat at number three. He then batted with Sanju in a manner that is history in itself. Tilak scored 120 runs and Sanju scored 109 runs.
West Indies record broken
The Indian team has become the highest scorer in T20 Internationals against South Africa by scoring 283 runs. Before the Indian team, no team could score such a big score against Africa. India has broken West Indies’ record, which it set in the year 2023. Windies team scored 258 runs in T20 against Africa in the year 2023.
Apart from this, the Indian team has made its second highest score in T20 Internationals. Earlier in the year 2024, India scored 297 runs in a T20I match against Bangladesh. Team India missed 300 runs then.
