While on the one hand, the salaries of many Indian players have increased drastically compared to last season in the IPL auction, on the other hand, some have also suffered losses. Ishan Kishan has also become one of these names. Ishan Kishan was earlier playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL. The team paid a hefty price for him, but he was released this year and sold when he came up for auction again, but his price has since dropped. It has also reduced a lot.
Mumbai made the first bid for Ishan Kishan
When Ishan Kishan’s name was mentioned in this year’s auction, Mumbai Indians placed the first bid. After this, the team of Punjab Kings also entered the field. For a long time these two teams were bidding and other teams were watching. After this the Delhi team also started bidding on him. Bidding Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 5 crores and it seemed that they would be bought at a very high price. The Delhi Capitals team was trying their best to include him with them. But as soon as the price went up, the team of SRH i.e. Sunrisers Hyderabad also entered the field. A bid was made between Punjab and SRH, but later the Punjab team backed out and SRH managed to bring them on board.
Ishan Kishan has suffered a loss of around 4 crore rupees
Interestingly, last time Mumbai Indians bought Ishan Kishan for Rs 15.25 crore, but this time SRH bought him for just Rs 11.25 crore. That is, if seen in this way, Ishan has suffered a loss of around 4 crore rupees. Now, it will be very interesting to see where he plays for SRH. Also, the team already has an excellent wicketkeeper in the form of Klaasen, so it remains to be seen whether Ishan Kishan will play as a wicketkeeper batsman or just as a batsman. Overall, Ishaan is hurt and now he has to show his better game, only then things will be resolved.
