Mumbai: A case has come to light that the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, is receiving death threats. Mumbai Police received this threatening message on Saturday. In the received message, it was said that PM Modi will be targeted and blasted. In this regard, officials said that the number from which this message was sent has been traced to Ajmer in Rajasthan. After receiving the message, a police team was immediately dispatched to Ajmer to arrest the suspect.
Mentioned to be an ISI agent
Officials said that a WhatsApp message was received on the Mumbai Traffic Police helpline early in the morning. An agent of Pakistani intelligence agency ‘ISI’ was mentioned in this message. Apart from this, the message talked about the conspiracy to bomb PM Modi. The official said that the investigating officers suspect that the person who sent the message was mentally disturbed or under the influence of alcohol. He said that the matter is being investigated. An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Judicial Code. Even before this, there have been many fake threatening messages on the Mumbai Traffic Police helpline.
I have received threats before
Let us tell you that earlier in November, the traffic control room of the Mumbai Police received a threatening call, in which the caller claimed that a plan was made to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to police sources, the caller has been identified as a woman. Police said a case has been registered at Amboli police station in Mumbai and efforts are on to nab him. Police said initial reports indicated the woman was mentally disturbed, but officers were investigating following standard procedures. He said police have launched an investigation and are following all protocols to track down the suspect. (Input- Agency)
