How to port number from Jio-Airtel to BSNL

  1. If you are a Jio or Airtel user and want to port your number to BSNL, you first need to apply a request by sending an SMS to 1900.
  2. For a request, you must type PORT in capital letters in this box. After this write the mobile number by giving a space.
  3. Note that if you live in Jammu and Kashmir you have to call 1900 to port BSNL.
  4. Now a unique code will be sent to your mobile number. Keep in mind that this code will be active for 15 days
  5. Now you have to go to BSNL office with that unique code. Here you have to go with your Aadhaar card. Along with this, other information will also be sought.
  6. After providing the personal details, the officer will give you a new BSNL SIM. Keep in mind that you may have to pay some money as a fee for this.
